Climate action for transformation
The LEDS LAC 2023 Regional Workshop is co-organized by the LEDS LAC Secretariat, the DCCD/MINAM and the Inter-American Development Bank with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Euroclima program, the NDC Partnership and the Organic Recycling project and in partnership with Avina and the Resilience Hub.

The Community of Practice on Methane Emissions Reduction from Organic Sources in Latin America and the Caribbean - MetLAC, held its kick-off workshop on November 14-15, 2023, in Bogota, Colombia, bringing together 42 people from 28 member and partner organizations from 10 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Since 2012, LEDS LAC collaborates in the implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and promotes resilient and low-emission development strategies, as well as bringing together representatives from governments and the private sector, non-governmental organizations, international cooperation organizations and academics working on the promotion and implementation of LEDS, facilitating the transition to a sustainable future in LAC.
