About the webinar

Climate-smart Agriculture is an approach to develop the technical, policy and investment conditions to promote a sustainable agricultural development that contributes to food security in the context of climate change. To apply this approach it is important to develop support frameworks to facilitate the identification of best practice portfolios and prioritize investments.

This webinar presented the “Framework for prioritizing investment in climate-smart agriculture” a methodological tool developed by the CCAFS-CIAT and adapted by CATIE in order to apply in two Central American territories where the Mesoamerican Agro- environmental Program (MAP) operates. This tool allows for the identification and evaluation of technically and economically promising practices of climate-smart agriculture, and building portfolios with best practices selected by key players through participatory processes.

The webinar was held in Spanish. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the Secretariat of the Platform LEDS LAC: info@ledslac.org
