The UN&#8217;s International Resource Panel (IRP) has recently published the report \u00abResource Efficiency and Climate Change: Material Efficiency Strategies for a Low-Carbon Future\u00bb which assesses the contribution of material efficiency as a strategy to reduce GHG emissions. In this framework, the circular economy appears as one of the strategies being implemented by both governmental and private organizations, to design and redesign systems in order to improve efficiency, reduce pollution and regenerate natural systems.<\/p>\n<p>This webinar is conducted in collaboration with the Office for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). It will present the main results and strategies promoted by the International Resource Panel &#8211; UNEP &#8211; in the publication of its last report, and the experience of Colombia in the implementation of the Circular Economy National Strategy.
