The EUROCLIMA + Program through the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ), within the framework of the Climate Governance Component, collaborates with the Secretariat of the LEDS LAC Regional Platform and the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS) of INCAE Business School, in the facilitation of the Community of Practice on Involvement of the Private Sector in the Processes of Climate Policy in Latin America.<\/p>\n

The objective of the CoP is to contribute to the development and consolidation of mechanisms to articulate the participation of the private sector in the formulation and implementation of climate policies, through the exchange of experiences and good practices, joint learning and collaboration to address common challenges. Participants are teams of representatives of public and private organizations from nine countries of the  EUROCLIMA Program.<\/p>\n

This webinar will summarize the learnings of the first year of work of the Community of Practice, which were discussed in a Workshop held in Lima at the end of May, as well as the experience of Peru in opening spaces for the participation of the private sector in climate policy processes.
