With support from the EUROCLIMA Program and other partners, the Platform\u00b4s Secretariat has organized face to face and online exchanges among governmental experts and international organizations, aimed at identifying common challenges, advances, lessons learned, good practices and tools available to move forward in this integration.<\/p>\n As a result of exchanges that took place in 2015 (check publication<\/a>), a number of factors were identified, which limit the efforts to design and implement measures that contribute simultaneously to mitigation and adaptation, among them, the lack of tools to simultaneously measure the advances in mitigation and adaptation. This point was revisited during an Expert Workshop held in October 2016<\/a>, discussing the challenges of articulating the monitoring and evaluation of adaptation, and the measurement, reporting and verification of mitigation, as well as methodological and practical advances in that area.<\/p>\n This webinar aims to continue the discussion on this topic, presenting an expert\u00b4s perspective on the opportunities and challenges to articulate mitigation and adaptation metrics, and the case of Colombia on how the process of formulating adaptation indicators is being used to capture linkages with mitigation.
