Vulnerability assessment is key to build resilience and provides elements to address other important challenges associated with sustainable development, such as natural resource management, food security and risk management, among others.<\/p>\n By assessing how vulnerable the community and the coastal territory are, there is a basis for strengthening their resilience. However, this is a complex task, as it involves harmonizing concepts and approaches to climate change and risk management, socio-economic elements of adaptive capacity and community capitals, all complementary and directly related to resilience.<\/p>\n This webinar will analyze the methodological approach used by the WaterClima-LAC project, funded by the European Commission and implemented by a consortium of academic institutions in the region, to understand and build the resilience of coastal communities.<\/p>\nAgenda<\/b><\/h3>\n
