Through MAPS, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru have been able to conduct nationally mandated research-processes for developing long term mitigation scenarios, supported by a team of experts in South Africa who implemented this approach for the first time in 2005 (known as Long Term Mitigation Scenarios). A broad range of stakeholders are being involved in developing evidence for mitigation action plans and scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>This webinar was a collaboration among the LEDS LAC Platform, Africa LEDS Partnership and the MAPS Programme.
